About Us
B'COOL Products owner, Randy Briley, has been performing custom paint and bodywork for over 20 years striving to continually offer the highest quality and service to his customers. He has painted such vehicles as Al Hinds `92 Pro Street Lumina, featured on the cover of Car Craft Magazine, and Gary Irving Racing's `52 Chevy Nitro Coupe which frequented the Super Chevy Shows Tour throughout the United States for several years. Many Harley's and custom V-Twin's, such as Steve Schuller's Speeding Billet, Gary Martin's radical chopped soft tail, INSANE, and several other very cool bike projects have been painted in his shop. From goalie masks to Harley's and hot rods, Randy has touched all areas of the custom paint market.
The Shift in Business
During the late 90's customized fenders became the norm of most work coming through the door for paint at B'COOL. Randy states, "Given the exorbitant costs of the customized fenders of the day I recognized that many labour hours could be saved by creating a higher quality fender blank that allowed the builder to remove the material they didn't want, instead of welding in a lot of patches to create the look they wanted".
In 2001 it was clear that the demands of the (new or next generation) custom builders we're not being met by the old generation manufacturing standards and it was time to start creating what is now used by Pro and semi Pro builders across the nation, the Uncut Skintite Pro-Builder fenders. Not long after the paint shop started to slowly evolve into a fender fabrication shop with a majority of the first few years being spent developing and refining techniques to produce the highest possible quality of hand made fenders. Not to be outdone by metal that sometimes seemed to have a mind of its own the BCOOL team of resources were pooled together and slowly all of the problematic issues were engineered out of the production processes by creating and following some very stringent standards. With procedures in place, and followed to the infinite detail, the BCOOL team is now offering the highest quality spun steel and aluminum fenders available today.
New Roads
To further compliment the B'COOL line-up of fenders, related components such as fender struts also became a serious part of the B'COOL look. To further enhance the beauty of the custom V-Twin, sporting big tires and wide fenders, Randy designed and introduced a line of billet fender struts which compliment the lines of his B'COOL fenders and customer bikes.
For the 2002 - 2003 build season B'COOL introduced their first series of fender struts for mounting 11" fenders on 250 tire after-market frames. Over the last couple of years the original design has been refined and the product redesigned creating additional new models to mount 9" fenders on stock soft tail Harley-Davidson's.
Randy and the entire B'COOL team remain committed to designing and producing quality after-market fenders and components.
Most recently the team at B'COOL Products has developed a rolling chassis package that comes complete with sheet metal mounted, wheels properly spaced with tires mounted and balanced and most hardware ready for you, the builder, to complete the package. B'COOL has taken the guess work out of some of the most troublesome aspects of most custom builds making the assembly a less daunting task.
